The National YWCA of Korea established the ‘YWCA-selected Good TV Program Award’ in 1996 to actively recommend well-made programs to viewers and instill a sense of new challenges in broadcast production teams. Since the 24th edition in 2020, the award has been renamed ‘YWCA-selected Good Media Content Award,’ expanding its scope beyond TV programs.
