한국YWCA연합회 자매님들께,

홍콩YWCA에서 인사드립니다.

한국YWCA연합회와 한국 시민단체들이 최근 홍콩 시위와 사회이슈에 대해 기자회견문을 발표하셨다는 소식을 들은 후 놀랐고 위로가 되었습니다. 맞습니다. 홍콩은 현재 다면적인 문제들로 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.

홍콩YWCA는 사회와 정부가 다양한 의견을 평화롭게 포용하고 논의하길 바라고 있습니다. 저희는 전능하신 하나님께서 이 모든 과정을 지켜보고 계시며 인도하시는 것을 알고 있습니다. 홍콩YWCA 실무자들과 자원봉사자들은 사랑, 평화, 희망, 성평등을 위한 노력을 멈추지 않겠습니다.

홍콩 그리고 마음의 치유와 사회적인 합의를 위해 기도해주시는 한국YWCA연합회의 모든 자매님과 동료들께 진심으로 감사드립니다. 저희는 하나님 안에서 절대로 희망을 잃지 않겠습니다.

Hello HyunJung and sisters of the National YWCA of Korea, Greetings from Hong Kong YWCA. It’s so surprised and comforting to have received your news that National YWCA of Korea and other Korean civic groups had issued a statement last month to concern and support us in midst of the recent protest and social issue in our place.

Yes, HongKongers are experiencing a big challenge with multifaceted problems. Hong Kong YWCA so much hoped that the society and Government could embrace and discuss different voices in a peaceful way.

We knew the Almighty God is looking after and leading us all through these. Our colleagues and volunteers will never stop striving for love, peace, hope and gender equality.

We thank so much for all the sisters and friends of Korea YWCA to pray for Hong Kong, for our sustainability, healing of hearts and social consensus. In God, we will never loss our hope.
